Erdem designs sunglasses for Cutler and Gross S/S 10

Put this high on your must-have accessory list for Spring/Summer 10. London-based Cutler and Gross have teamed up with one of fashion’s hottest talent of the moment– Erdem Moralioglu.

The half-English, half-Turkish designer known only by his first name is much in demand amongst A-list celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Keira Knightley, Thandie Newton and Marion Cotillard to name a few.

Erdem’s fall 2009 collection

An image of a tribe of Japanese fisherwomen dressed in brightly printed shorts charging out of the waves across black sand is what sparked Erdem’s imagination for the spring/summer ‘10 CUTLER AND GROSS collaboration.

The pops of vibrant colours chosen juxtaposed with darker backgrounds work on a graphic and glamorously sixties style shape. This range marks the first collaboration between Erdem and CUTLER AND GROSS.

The spring/summer 2010 glasses are available in black, black lace, tortoise, a neutral stone, and Erdem’s customized designed Kyoto print, an intensely coloured abstract floral print for the new season.
