The Rug Company’s first store opening in the Middle East at DIFC

London-based avant-garde interiors label The Rug Company officially opened its first Middle East store at the exclusive brand haven– Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). Co-founder Chris Sharp flew down especially for the launch night and cut the ribbon along with DIFC Managing Director Abdullah Mohammed Al Awar. The evening saw Dubai’s hip and happening gather to appreciate the fabulous designs and some delectable food from Zuma’s.

The chic brand that has collaborated with such designers and brands as Paul Smith, Diane Von Furstenburg, BarberOsgerby and Marni to name a few, is renowned for its contemporary take on rug design. Recently, the brand has also unveiled a collection of other soft furnishings such as cushion covers and wall hangings. Here’re a few snapshots from the evening:
