The DO Lectures - Answering your questions.

The DO lectures are a set of talks with sustainability at its heart happening between the 3rd – 7th of September. Started as a dinner table conversation between David and Clare Hieatt (the co-founders of howies®) The DO Lectures are a standalone event that will bring together a bunch of the world’s most creative people to speak their mind and inspire new ways of thinking about everyday ideas. It frustrates me when I see countries like the UAE who have no social concept of sustainability coupled with an increasing ecological footprint - it seems to put efforts made by other countries to increase green-practices to waste. I think there should be some kind of penalty on countries that have the resources (i.e money) to make changes for a greener future but don’t (hello America), whether it be financial or otherwise. What do you think?

The idea of all these inspiring speakers in one place is quite mind blowing, the knowledge they can share and inspire others to ‘go do’ is such a positive outlook, what other plans have you for the Do Lectures?

David is leaving Howies next month (October), I wonder what projects he has lined up? Will he be aiming to focus on the Do Lectures. Given that The Do is the TEDTalks of Wales I think it could be a real movement for change.
