Louis Vuitton charity auction for Red Cross
Louis Vuitton auction, held a couple of days ago at Sotheby’s, saw seven specially-commissioned pieces sold for a total of £495,000 in aid of the Red Cross.

Louis Vuitton’s medicine trunk for Red Cross
Louis Vuitton asked six well-known personalities to create a unique special order that embodies their expertise in their respective professions. To commemorate the event, Louis Vuitton also crafted a limited-edition Red Cross medical trunk.

Working with the brand’s iconic leather workshop in Asnières, just outside Paris, celebrity chef Ferran Adrià, photographer Annie Leibovitz, Argentine musician Gustavo Santaolalla, artist Damien Hirst, fashion designer and Louis Vuitton’s creative director Marc Jacobs, and family heir Patrick Louis Vuitton, all designed leather travel luggage in line with the label’s aesthetics.
