Karim Rashid designed Switch restaurant to open at Dubai Mall in January
Published in One of Dubai’s favourite designers, Karim Rashid has designed Switch fusion restaurant at the recently opened Dubai Mall. The ‘futuristic’ (a term Rashid is not very fond of and likes to call it contemporary) dining joint by Saudi Arabia-based Al Bassam Group will open in early January.
Says Rashid about his latest project in the emirate, “I wanted to create a powerful, clean space that offers a beautiful perspective, like an oasis free from chaos. My intention was to create a truly unique space for the Dubai Mall that will become an iconic reference, not only in Dubai, but also in the rest of the world.’’
